Hull KR Loan Deal: Jack Broadbent Joins, Two Players to Castleford

Hull KR Sign Jack Broadbent on Loan, Sending Two Players to Castleford

In a strategic move, Hull KR have secured the services of utility back Jack Broadbent on an initial season-long loan, with the player set to join the Robins permanently on a three-year deal thereafter. As part of the deal, two Hull KR players, Corey Hall and Louis Senior, will head to Castleford Tigers on loan until the end of the season, with Senior extending his current loan spell at the Jungle.

Broadbent, who has been one of the standout performers for the struggling Castleford team, has caught the eye of Hull KR head coach Willie Peters, who expressed his delight at securing the young talent. Peters praised Broadbent’s versatility and running game, stating that the addition of these qualities will greatly benefit the Robins.

“Jack’s a talented player with his best years still ahead of him. I’ve watched Jack a lot over the last couple of years and he’s certainly a player who can play many positions with real quality, which definitely appeals to us,” said Peters. “Jack’s main strength are his running game along with his ability to play what he sees, and we’re looking forward to adding those qualities to our team.”

The Castleford Tigers, under the guidance of Director of Rugby Operations Danny Wilson, have also welcomed the arrival of Hall and Senior, who will bolster their squad until the end of the season. Wilson highlighted the excitement surrounding Hall’s signing, praising his talent and athleticism, and the potential he brings to the Tigers’ backline.

This strategic player exchange is set to benefit both clubs as they navigate the competitive landscape of the rugby league season.
