Rugby League Transfer Market Heats Up as Hull KR Secure Eribe Doro Signing
Despite the break in Super League action for the mid-season fixture between England and France, the transfer market has been in full swing, with clubs looking to get a head start on their rivals by completing their business early. One such team is Hull KR, who have been busy with their recruitment for the 2025 season.
Earlier this year, the Robins announced the signing of Sydney Roosters legend and New Zealand international Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, who will join the club next season. They have also secured a long-term deal for prolific winger Tom Davies from the Catalans Dragons. Mid-season, Hull KR have brought in the likes of Jack Broadbent from Castleford Tigers and Jack Brown from cross-city rivals Hull FC.
Now, the club has announced another exciting addition to their squad, as they look to build on their strong start to the 2024 campaign, which has seen them sit third in the Super League table. Hull KR have confirmed the signing of prop forward Eribe Doro from the Bradford Bulls on a two-year deal from the 2025 season.
“Hull KR are delighted to confirm prop forward, Eribe Doro will join the club on a two-year deal from the 2025 Betfred Super League season. A devastating runner with a dynamic offload game, Doro links up with the Robins on a two-year deal from Bradford Bulls after joining the West Yorkshire club mid-season in 2023. A Warrington Wolves’ junior, Doro made his Super League debut in 2020 and went on to make three more appearances for the Wolves before joining Widnes.”
