As the Super League season approaches its final stretch, contract negotiations are ramping up for players across the league. With around 120 players currently off-contract, clubs are working to secure their futures beyond 2024.
Earlier this month, Love Rugby League revealed a list of players who were yet to be offered new deals or had their contract extensions announced by their current clubs. In the weeks since, some of those players have seen their futures confirmed, such as Danny Richardson’s loan move to Hull KR.
However, there are still several standout talents across the Super League that clubs should be prioritizing to re-sign. Our experts have identified one player at each club that deserves a new long-term deal, taking into account factors like form, potential, and importance to their respective teams.
Castleford Tigers: Tex Hoy
