Warrington Wolves Secure Joe Bullock with Contract Extension until 2026

Warrington Wolves Lock Up Joe Bullock with Contract Extension

Bullock Extends Stay at Halliwell Jones Stadium

April 6, 2023 – Warrington Wolves have secured the services of forward Joe Bullock, announcing a new two-year contract extension that will keep the 31-year-old at the Halliwell Jones Stadium until the end of the 2026 season.

Bullock, who originally joined the Wolves in 2021 after a three-year stint with Wigan Warriors, has become an integral part of the squad, making 43 appearances for the club so far. The Cumbrian native expressed his delight at the contract extension, citing the influence of new head coach Sam Burgess as a key factor in his decision.

“I’m very happy to have committed my future here,” Bullock said. “I’ve had some good chats with Sam [Burgess] and I’m excited about where the future of the club is going. I’ve enjoyed my time here ever since I arrived, and I love the club, the squad we’ve got, and the structures around us. Sam’s influence around the club is amazing, and the rapport he has with the lads is positive. I feel he’s really going to help me progress and develop, and it’s an exciting opportunity for me.”

Burgess, who took over as Warrington’s head coach earlier this year, echoed Bullock’s sentiments, praising the forward’s value to the team.

“I’m happy Bull [Joe Bullock] has agreed a contract extension with the club,” Burgess said. “He’s a valued part of our pack, a popular figure amongst the playing group, and he will be an important player for us in the years ahead.”

Bullock’s contract extension comes as a significant boost for the Wolves, who will be looking to build on their recent performances when they take on reigning champions St Helens in the Challenge Cup on Sunday.
