Corey Hall and Jack Broadbent’s Loan Swap: A Temporary Shift, a Permanent Move

In a surprising turn of events, Corey Hall and Jack Broadbent will be swapping clubs for the remainder of the current rugby league season. While this may be a temporary arrangement, the two players’ futures beyond this year have taken different paths.

Castleford Tigers and Hull KR Swap Players

Castleford Tigers have acquired Corey Hall on loan from Hull KR, while Broadbent will head in the opposite direction to join the Robins on a similar loan deal. However, Broadbent’s future with the Tigers appears to be more certain, as he has already agreed to a three-year contract with Hull KR starting next season.

Corey Hall’s Future Remains Uncertain

The situation surrounding Corey Hall’s future is slightly more complicated, as he remains under contract with Hull KR beyond this season. This means that there is a possibility he could return to Craven Park in 2025, though his immediate focus will be on making the most of his loan spell with Castleford.

Winger Louis Senior will also join Castleford on loan for the remainder of 2024 as part of the arrangement. Rovers coach Willie Peters acknowledged the value of the loans, stating, “Corey and Louis are both quality people and we wish them all the best during their time with Castleford.”
