Wigan, May 6, 2024 – The Wigan Warriors extended their winning streak to eight games with a dominant 36-0 victory over the London Broncos at the newly named Brick Community Stadium.

Bevan French was the standout performer, leaving fans captivated with his electrifying displays. The Australian speedster was at the heart of Wigan’s attacking prowess, orchestrating much of their offensive play.

Alongside French, several Warriors players delivered exceptional individual displays. Winger Abbas Miski capped off a fine team move with a try in the 37th minute, while centre Jake Wardle continued to demonstrate his class, scoring a brace of tries.

18-year-old academy product Jack Farrimond also caught the eye, scoring two tries and kicking six goals from as many attempts, including a couple from the touchline. The young prodigy’s impressive debut at the Brick Community Stadium has raised excitement about his potential.

Elsewhere, the Warriors’ forward pack, led by the likes of Patrick Mago, Liam Byrne, and Ethan Havard, laid the foundation for their dominant performance, with their physicality and work rate proving too much for the Broncos to handle.

“This comprehensive victory over London Broncos has further solidified Wigan’s position as one of the leading contenders in the 2024 Super League season.”
