Super League Round Eight Referees Announced – Rugby League Results

Rugby League Results: Referees Confirmed for Super League Round Eight

As the Super League competition intensifies, the refereeing teams for Round Eight have been officially announced. With every game this season being broadcast live on Sky Sports, each fixture will feature a dedicated video referee to assist the on-field officials.

Contrary to the usual schedule, this round will see three games on Friday and three on Saturday, leaving Thursday and Sunday empty. On Friday, the Leeds Rhinos will host the Huddersfield Giants at Headingley, hoping to prevent the Giants from capitalizing on their recent good form, which includes a surprise Challenge Cup victory against Catalans. Chris Kendall will be the referee, supported by Marcus Griffiths as the video referee.

Elsewhere on Friday, St Helens will look to shake off any lingering cobwebs as they take on Hull FC, with Tom Grant as the man in the middle and Liam Moore as the video referee. The third fixture between Wigan and Castleford Tigers will be overseen by James Vella, with Aaron Moore consulting the replays as the video referee.

On Saturday, the London Broncos will host the Salford Red Devils at Plough Lane, seeking their first win of the season. Aaron Moore will be the referee, with Liam Rush as the video official. In another Saturday clash, the Warrington Wolves will face the Leigh Leopards at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, with Liam Moore as the referee and James Vella as the video referee.

Finally, a highly anticipated matchup will see the Catalans Dragons take on Hull Kingston Rovers in Catalonia. Jack Smith will be the referee, supported by Ben Thaler as the video official.
