Top 10 in the Steve Prescott Man of Steel Rugby League Rankings After 7 Rounds
Love Rugby League provides a weekly update on the Steve Prescott Man of Steel leaderboard following each round of Super League action. The voting system awards points to the best performing players in each match – 3 points for the man of the match, 2 points for the runner-up, and 1 point for the third best player, as determined by a panel of former players.
In the latest round of Super League fixtures (Round 7), there were several standout individual performances:
- Wigan Warriors’ Junior Nsemba, Jai Field, and Bevan French swept the points in their team’s victory over Leigh Leopards.
- Castleford Tigers winger Innes Senior scored 4 tries to earn maximum points in the win over Salford Red Devils, with teammates Cain Robb and Salford’s Tim Lafai also receiving votes.
- Hull KR’s Mikey Lewis, Matt Parcell, and James Batchelor were rewarded for their roles in the Robins’ big win over London Broncos.
- Warrington Wolves dominated with a clean sweep, as James Harrison, George Williams, and Ben Currie were recognized for their display against Leeds Rhinos.
- Huddersfield Giants’ hat-trick hero Adam Swift, along with Tui Lolohea and Jake Connor, collected points in the victory over Hull FC.
- The Catalans Dragons trio of Mike McMeeken, Arthur Mourgue, and Alrix Da Costa were awarded points following their win over reigning champions St Helens.
