Ryan Hall to Rejoin Leeds Rhinos: Hull KR Exit Confirmed

Rugby League Veteran Ryan Hall Set for Leeds Rhinos Return After Hull KR Exit

Veteran winger Ryan Hall has confirmed he will be departing Hull KR at the end of the current season, paving the way for a return to his former club Leeds Rhinos in 2025. The England stalwart, who turns 37 in November, has been a standout performer for the Robins since joining the club ahead of the 2021 season.

Hall arrived at Craven Park after a two-year stint in the NRL with the Sydney Roosters, and has since made a significant impact, scoring 52 tries in 83 appearances for Hull KR, including their Challenge Cup final defeat at Wembley last year.

In a touching statement, Hall expressed his gratitude to the Robins organization, coaching staff, and fans, stating:

“These three and a bit years have been great. I’ve seen the club transform into a genuine top four team. I’d like to think I’ve left the place better than I found it and I’m really proud of the progress we’ve made at Hull KR.”

Despite the club’s lack of silverware thus far, Hall believes the Robins are on the cusp of success, with the team currently pushing for a top-four finish in Super League and reaching the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup. The veteran winger is determined to leave the club on a high note, saying, “I still have some quality rugby in me and I’m looking forward to finishing my time with Hull KR on a high.”

Hull KR Coach Praises Hall’s Contribution

Hull KR coach Willie Peters praised Hall’s contribution to the club, stating, “Ryan has been extremely supportive since I joined the club. He’s played a major role in our leadership group and also a major role in our on-field performances. His career speaks for itself with what he’s done in the game.”

Homecoming for Hall at Leeds Rhinos

The Rhinos are yet to officially confirm Hall’s return, but the move represents a homecoming for the winger, who came through the ranks at Leeds and spent 12 successful seasons with the club, scoring 233 tries in 330 appearances between 2007 and 2018 before his stint in the NRL and move to Hull KR.

With his wealth of experience and proven track record, Hall’s departure from Hull KR will be a significant loss for the club, but his impending return to Leeds Rhinos is sure to excite rugby league fans across the country.
