Veteran Winger Ryan Hall Returns to Leeds Rhinos for Final Season
Seasoned winger Ryan Hall is set for a homecoming at Leeds Rhinos, signing a one-year contract for the final season of his illustrious career in 2025. The England international, who announced his departure from Hull KR earlier this week, will don the Rhinos jersey once again as he brings his storied playing days to a close.
The 37-year-old Hall, who rose through the ranks at Headingley, previously donned the Rhinos colors for 12 seasons between 2007 and 2018, scoring an impressive 233 tries in 330 appearances. After a two-year stint with the Sydney Roosters in the NRL, he returned to the Super League with Hull KR in 2021, quickly becoming a fan favorite and scoring 52 tries in 84 games for the Robins.
“Ryan is passionate about Leeds Rhinos, and it was an easy decision to bring him back home to AMT Headingley. He wants to finish his career as a Rhino, and he will have a positive impact on our whole group.”

Positive Impact on Emerging Talent
Head coach Rohan Smith echoed the sentiments, stating, “Ryan is a model professional who has continued to perform at the highest level for many years. He is highly respected by his teammates, and I think he will be a great addition to our group, especially with the large number of players emerging from our academy in the coming years.”
Hall, who has 42 international caps for England, is currently chasing the Super League’s all-time try-scoring record, sitting just three tries behind Rhinos great Danny McGuire. The veteran winger expressed his excitement at the prospect of concluding his career at the club where it all began.
“I am really happy that my career is going full circle, and I will play my final year at the Rhinos. I have got work to do, and I still feel I have got good rugby in the legs. I am looking forward to working with the young players at Leeds, as I have done at Hull KR, and passing on my knowledge.”

As he transitions into the next phase of his career, Hall will take on a role within the Rhinos’ commercial department, cementing his long-term future with the club he holds dear.
