Teenage Talents Shine in 2024 Super League Season
In 2024, the rugby league landscape has witnessed an abundance of teenage talents making their mark in the Super League. This year, no fewer than 14 current teenagers have featured in the top flight, a testament to the diligent work being carried out behind the scenes at every club.
Logan Moy of Hull FC, an 18-year-old fullback, has already made four appearances for the Airlie Birds, while Warrington Wolves’ winger Arron Lindop, also 18, scored a try on his debut against Catalans Dragons. Leeds Rhinos have unearthed gems in 19-year-olds Ned McCormack and Alfie Edgell, who have both impressed in their early senior outings.
At Hull FC, 19-year-old Lewis Martin has become a mainstay in the team, scoring three tries, while his teammate Jack Charles, an 18-year-old playmaker, has made eight appearances and already kicked 10 goals. Another Leeds prodigy, 19-year-old Jack Sinfield, has featured twice this season, including a try-scoring effort against London.

Warrington’s young guns Max Wood, 19, and Adam Holroyd, 19, have shown their mettle off the bench, while Wigan Warriors have unleashed 18-year-old half-back Jack Farrimond and 19-year-old second-rower Junior Nsemba, the latter establishing himself as a regular starter. Completing the “youngest 13” is Castleford Tigers’ 19-year-old loose forward George Hill, who has impressed since making his debut in April.
As these teenage talents continue to gain valuable experience at the highest level, fans can expect to see more of these rising stars in the years to come.
