RFL Investigates Allegations of Unacceptable Language in Rugby League Match

Rugby League Results: Allegations of “Unacceptable Language” Being Investigated by the RFL

The Rugby Football League (RFL) has launched an investigation into allegations of “unacceptable language” following an incident that occurred during the match between the London Broncos and Salford Red Devils. This marks the second such case this year, with the previous incident also involving the London-based side.

Allegations of Unacceptable Language

In the latest incident, London’s center Hakim Miloudi reported to referee Liam Rush that Salford’s Matty Foster had used “unacceptable language” towards him during the game. While neither Rush nor his touch judge heard the alleged comments, the RFL has confirmed that the matter will be investigated further upon the Broncos providing supporting evidence.

“This marks the second such case this year, with the previous incident also involving the London-based side.”

This comes just a week after the RFL withdrew all charges against Hull FC forward Herman Ese’ese for a similar allegation in a match against the Super League’s bottom side. The Broncos had previously sought legal advice regarding that case, and now they find themselves dealing with another incident of the same nature.

Disciplinary Actions

Elsewhere in the round of Rugby League fixtures, both Adam Keighran and Tyler Dupree were handed three-game bans and fined £250 for head contact and a head-butt, respectively. This means they will both miss the upcoming Challenge Cup Final on Saturday.

As the investigations into the alleged “unacceptable language” continue, rugby league fans and enthusiasts will be eagerly awaiting the outcome and any potential disciplinary actions that may arise. The sport’s governing body’s handling of such sensitive matters will be closely watched, with the goal of ensuring a safe and respectful playing environment for all.
