Hull FC Secure Promising Young Star Davy Litten with Two-Year Contract Extension

In a move to solidify their talented youth roster, Hull FC have announced that rising star Davy Litten has signed a new two-year contract extension, keeping the 21-year-old at the club until the end of the 2026 season.

Litten’s Re-signing Underscores Hull FC’s Commitment to Youth Development

Litten’s re-signing marks the latest in a series of contract extensions the Super League club has secured for its up-and-coming players. Logan Moy, Harvey Barron, and Zach Jebson have all recently penned new deals since the arrival of Director of Rugby Richie Myler, underscoring Hull FC’s intent to nurture and retain their promising young prospects.

Litten’s Meteoric Rise and Potential

With 23 senior appearances under his belt since debuting in 2022, the Hull-born-and-bred Litten has quickly established himself as one of the club’s most exciting young talents. The outside-back made 21 appearances in the 2023 campaign and has continued to impress when given opportunities this season, despite a challenging year overall for the team.

“We’re pleased to tie down another of our bright young talents for the next two years. As Davy acknowledges himself, there are areas of his game that he is keen to develop, and we’re excited to see him do that with us over the coming years.” – Richie Myler, Director of Rugby, Hull FC

Litten’s Excitement and Delight at Contract Extension

Litten, who is the younger cousin of Hull KR hooker Jez Litten, expressed his delight at extending his stay with his boyhood club. “Representing this club is a huge honour, and I’m excited to see what the next two years bring for me in an exciting period for Hull FC,” he said.

Strengthening the Roster with New Signings

The news of Litten’s contract extension comes on the heels of Hull FC’s recent signings of Treigh Stewart and Jed Cartwright from the NRL, further strengthening their roster as they aim to build a competitive squad for the future.
