Dewsbury Rams Part Ways with Head Coach Dale Ferguson
Dewsbury, UK – In a surprising move, Dewsbury Rams have announced the resignation of Dale Ferguson as their head coach, following a challenging start to the season.
Ferguson expressed his gratitude to the players and supporters, stating,
“I’d like to thank the players and the fans for their support. This hasn’t been an easy decision for me to make, but at the moment I feel I can help more on the field as a player.”
The club has acted swiftly, promoting Assistant Coach Paul March to the role of Head Coach until the end of the season. March, a local to the area, shared his enthusiasm for the opportunity,
“Firstly, I’d like to thank Fergie for bringing me into the club. I’m proud to take over my hometown club, which has a lot of history. It’s my job to build a team on the field that gives 100% every week and plays the game in a way that entertains the supporters. It’s a big challenge, but one I’m ready for, starting this Saturday against Toulouse.”
Conor Turner will remain in his role as Assistant Coach, providing valuable support to March as he takes on the new responsibilities.
