Castleford Tigers Secure First Win in Six Games with Dominant Performance over Hull FC
Castleford, 23rd April 2024 – The Castleford Tigers picked up their first victory in six games with a resounding 39-20 triumph over Hull FC at the MKM Stadium. Craig Lingard’s side have now opened up a nine-point gap over 10th-placed Hull, with only three matches remaining in the regular season.
Standout Performances
Tex Hoy was the standout performer for the Tigers, earning the Sky Sports Man of the Match award after bagging a brace against his former club. The Australian provided a real spark to Castleford’s attack, earning an impressive 8/10 rating.
Rowan Milnes also shone, scoring a try and kicking seven goals, as well as slotting a drop goal, to earn an 8/10 rating. Veteran prop Liam Watts was a dominant force, carrying the ball powerfully and making a pivotal break that led to Jensen Windley’s maiden Super League try.
