Veteran rugby league hooker Paul McShane is set to be honored with a star-studded testimonial match on July 14th at Hunslet ARLFC. The long-serving Castleford Tigers player, known for his longevity and consistency, will face off against a Rugby League All-Stars side in the highly anticipated event.
McShane, who started his professional career with the Leeds Rhinos in 2009, has been a mainstay for the Castleford Tigers since joining the club in 2015. During his time with the Tigers, he was a crucial part of their resurgence in the late 2010s, featuring prominently in their 2017 League Leaders’ Shield triumph. Despite missing out on England caps throughout his career, McShane finally made his international debut in 2021 and earned a second cap later that year.
