Leigh Leopards coach Adrian Lam provides selection update ahead of Warrington Wolves showdown

Leigh Leopards coach Adrian Lam has revealed the latest on his squad’s availability for Friday’s crucial match against Warrington Wolves.
The Leopards will be without influential captain John Asiata due to a one-match ban, with the club’s appeal against the charge being rejected. However, there is good news for Lam, who is set to welcome back prop Robbie Mulhern and winger Josh Charnley for the visit of their former club.
The decision on whether star player Matt Moylan will feature is still to be made, but Lam is optimistic about the five-eighth’s chances of playing after recovering from a rib injury. “Matty Moylan is more than likely to play tomorrow (Friday),” Lam stated in his weekly press conference.
With Asiata unavailable, Lam highlighted three players who could step up to fill the void in the back row – Jack Hughes, Owen Trout, and Aaron Pene, who started last week.
“It’s an incredibly important game for us and also for Warrington, who could potentially climb up into that top two,” Lam added. “If Matt can play, that will only advantage us, so we’ll make that decision at the death.”
