Round 21 of the Super League Season Could Prove Costly for Several Clubs
The upcoming Round 21 of the Super League season could have significant implications for several clubs, as they await disciplinary outcomes ahead of the highly anticipated Magic Weekend event.
The recent slate of matches witnessed a number of notable incidents, which could potentially result in significant bans, leaving some of the league’s top players sidelined not only for the Elland Road event, but also for the weeks beyond.
Among the key players who may face the prospect of suspensions are Wigan Warriors’ scrum-half Harry Smith, who was shown a red card during his team’s defeat against Leeds Rhinos. Matt Peet’s side could be without Smith for an extended period, and a lengthy ban would not come as a surprise.
