Matty Smith, the current head coach of the St Helens women’s team and assistant coach for the men’s side, has shared his ultimate 1-13 lineup of players he has played alongside throughout his illustrious career.
A skilled half-back in his own right, Smith enjoyed a long and successful playing stint with several clubs, most notably St Helens, Salford Red Devils, and Wigan Warriors. After retiring at the end of the 2022 season, Smith transitioned into coaching, bringing his wealth of rugby league experience to both the women’s and men’s setups at St Helens.
