Rugby League Fans: Jayden Sullivan Heads to Super League in 2025, but Not Hull FC
Jayden Sullivan, the Wests Tigers half-back, is set to join the Super League in 2025, but he will not be signing with Hull FC as previously suggested.
The 22-year-old, who started his career with St George in the NRL, only joined Wests Tigers at the beginning of this season. However, as the struggling NRL club embarks on a major rebuild after another disappointing season, Sullivan is one of several players who will be granted a release at the end of the current campaign.
While reports had suggested that Hull FC was the likely destination for Sullivan’s move to the Super League, Love Rugby League has been informed that this is not the case. The Black and Whites are focused on other targets, and Sullivan has never held any discussions with the club about a potential switch to the UK.
Instead, the talented half-back is expected to sign with a different Super League club in 2025. There is also a possibility that he could be released mid-season, allowing him to take up a deal in the Super League earlier than originally planned.
This news comes as another Wests Tigers player, center Brent Naden, has been revealed to be signing with the Catalans Dragons for the 2025 season, as reported earlier on Tuesday by Love Rugby League.
